Dental Health Day at Weems Creek Nursery School

It is never too early to develop good oral hygiene habits. On Feb. 9th, Dr. Roland led Dental Health Day at Weems Creek Nursery and Kindergarten, a wonderful school here in Annapolis. Dr. Roland spoke to the children in the nursery class about the importance of caring for their teeth: “All the children had fun helping me show how to brush teeth. Then, they did a coloring exercise and colored foods that are either good or bad for teeth.” Dr. Roland also attended her daughter’s Pre-K class helping students get excited about Dental Health Day: “These children were also very excited to help me show how to brush teeth. Then, we all played dental bingo. The kids had tons of fun with this game and we had two lucky winners.”

Dr. Roland was delighted to spend time with the children in their classrooms, encouraging dental health: “I was very happy to be part of this magical place of a school.”
